Module: Cognitive revision
Revision: The cognitive approach
This module is a revision of the key concepts of the cognitive approach. Each component of the module has a mini-assessment which will either give you direct feedback, or which you may submit to your teacher for feedback. You may choose to do the module in any order. You may also choose to do the whole module or the most relevant sections for your revision.
Tips for using this module
This module will prepare you for the SAQs and ERQs relevant to the cognitive approach. There are many studies that you may choose from to prepare for the exams, but in order to make the revision effective, each section will focus on only two studies.
The goal of the revision unit is to revise important concepts and develop critical thinking skills. You may, of course, use any of the studies in the textbook in order to answer the questions on exam day.
Each section of the module has an "assessment" that your teacher may ask you to submit either for a grade or for feedback. The assessments are modeled on the IB assessment and should help you to prepare for the exams without writing an essay for every question!
