                  The solution is then titrated with 0.02 mol dm-3 potassium dichromate, K2Cr2O7, producing Fe3+ and Cr3+ ions in acidic solution. The titration requires 31.00 cm3 of K2Cr2O7 for 1.35 g of the sample.
