Surprisingly, this question was not answered well primarily due to incorrect GDC use and a lack of understanding of the terms "median" and "interquartile range". Many candidates opted for an analytical approach in part (a) which always resulted in mistakes.
Some candidates wrote the down the mean instead of the median in part (b).
