Examiners report
Many students were able to identify the components correctly but there were too many students who were unable to do this either providing 1 health-related component and 1 skill-related component or providing incorrect responses such as “diet” and “exercise”.
Many candidates were able to identify the disadvantage linking to muscle mass. There was limited reference to the range of advantages. Those who earned a mark, referenced ease and cost.
This question was generally answered well; however, there were a number of candidates who referred to doping as a benefit.
