Neil Allen is an experienced IB Diploma teacher and trainer of teachers, particularly for the English A: Language & Literature course. Heralding from the United Kingdom, Neil did his first degree and his teaching training in York, England, before starting his teaching career in a small but fantastic school in North Yorkshire. Since then, Neil has taught in Cairo, Egypt, then Muscat, Oman (where he began teaching the IB Diploma), and in Brussels, Belgium. During this time, Neil became an IB workshop leader delivering teacher-training, gained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership & Management, and became a Belgian citizen. In 2018, Neil moved to Leipzig, Germany to be, initially, the school's leader of teaching and learning and, later, the Principal of the Secondary School.
Neil is a big lover of the IB Diploma Programme and this course in particular, and continues to teach this course to students in Germany. Authoring this revision site specifically for students, therefore, is a pleasure.
